Owner & Artistic Director
Erynn Leff founded Evolution Dance Complex when her dream of starting her own dance studio and competitive company came to fruition. Growing up in Cleveland presented Erynn with extensive dance training and many opportunities to learn from some of the best in the area. She grew up dancing competitively and had the amazing opportunity to train with Dee Hillier for 10 years. Upon graduation, Erynn continued studying dance and kinesiology at Bowling Green State University. During her time there, Erynn performed in the tap repertory program all four years, had choreography works presented in the faculty showcase, and worked at three local dance studios. Erynn went on to accept an Assistant Competitive Director role in the Toledo area until deciding to move back home in 2019. While back home, Erynn also gained a love for fitness instruction which led her to obtain multiple format certifications. She now, in addition to dance, teaches pilates and cardio-based fitness classes to all ages and plans to combine her fitness training knowledge and dance education to help evolve her students to the next level. Erynn's choreography has gone on to win multiple titles at both regional and national levels while also being acknowledged with regional and national choreography awards and numerous Industry Dance Award nominations. Erynn has also choreographed multiple routines for Ohio high school dance teams that have placed at states including bringing a state championship to the Strongsville High School dance team.
Erynn plans to provide her students with top of the line choreography and dance training, fitness programs for health and dancer safety, and mental health outlets for a positive environment all while fostering a professional, inclusive, and caring atmosphere to put them on the path of evolving into their best selves. To EVOLVE is to never settle, but to keep learning and progressing which is what Erynn always plans to do for herself and her students.
